Evil
Platowannabe commented on the last post.
I could probably agree with what he said..
Evil is when someone knows that it’s actions harm others and chooses to ignore it. The arguments can of course differ from being to being. Some use the argument: “Well, why should I care when nobody else cares?” Or: “I don’t think that it will be any different if I stop doing this” Some just say: “Well, I don’t care.”
This in itself does not make the human evil. But the actions can be defined as evil.
2) Evil is acting or teaching in a manner which disregards the facts of our existance, while clinging to a dogma or egoism that gives them self importance on the ‘right’.
But isn’t this more a description of a dum person?
“3) Evil is doing something which the vast majority find wrong.”
But what if the ideas of the majority are those that are evil? Were the homosexuals who fought against the Nazi regime evil? Their actions were considered wrong. Does that make them Evil?
“4) Evil is the negative of a value judgement by an individual.”
I don’t know about this…
“Evil is subjective.”
The same about this.
